haven't posted lately coz i focused on other things more or less related to trading, read tested and read some more ....guess i will resume trading and posting starting next week, or so i hope.

Not CL for 9 years

no Champions League for 9 years and not this year also.
we had luck, Steaua draw Rosenborg, a norvegian team who is performing
badly in the internal competition, after 1-1 in Bucharest missing a lot
of opportunities wasn't able to beat them in Trondheim.
to be honest the way the romanian championship is at the moment we don't
deserve a place among the big boys.

Working...

Took and interest in the jurik moving average, haven't been using it
till now and looking to see if it's any good; so far it moves nice and i
like the way the Macd with the JMA works. trying to tweak it a little
though, leave it to me to change a good thing :)

This is way i haven't updated the blog with trades coz they were scarce...

Friday's trades

Broke my "don't trade the news" rule, saw a long signal during the news, and after few minutes of deliberating with myself took the trade got stopped out, took another one again got stopped out so the daily total is -30 pips.

Except for today was a + week, sticking to most of the rules and making few pips while doing that :)

1305 l @ 1.8032
1315 sl @ 1.8033 +1 pips

1320 s @ 1.8032
1325 sl @ 1.8038 -6 pips

1610 l @ 1.8047
1630 tp@1.8057 +10 pips - half
1640 sl@1.8080 +33 pips - the rest

on the second trade i did hurry a bit with the entry...going to be more focused for future trades.

Tuesday's trades

No point in waiting for the FOMC, don't like to trade on news, so i'm all done for today.
s @ 1.7856 out @ 1.7853 +3
s @ 1.7860 out @ 1.7850, 1.7836 per +10 & + 24
s @ 1.7828 out @ 1.7832 -4

Starting a new moneymanagement thingy, closing half @+10 and moving the stop to b/e on the other, i did just that with the second trade so it was half @+10 rest @+24 avereged at +17.

stood aside and watched the move up, or at least the second part due to a late start this mornin.
took 3 trades on the consolidation after the move.

Stuff over the weekend

In an attempt to find out what google knows about romanian forex sites or articles, i found a no. of post on some forums marketing Marketiva, a broker who's main appeal to my countrymen was that it gave 5$ to trade live when an demo acc. was setup, and has a referral program.
I logged in, got my 5$, very happy about that :), and was surprised enough to find a decent platform, nicely put together, with small chats, charting etc. to bad about the excessive high spread 5 pips on cable, 3 on euro.

Returning to the romanian sites about forex, well i didn't find any which gave me a little to think about, obviously there is some interest about it, but no sites up that can provide some usefull information to the public.

Another interesting thing i've stumbled upon is the Optimus Keyboard
has some nice features..and looks like nothing i've ever seen used on computers.

End of the trading week

Didn't trade today just watched as the mkt got ready to welcome the news...

the good thing is that i don't feel i have to be on a trade like i used to some while back when i was clearly overtrading, fewer trades some winners some loosers but slowly getting there, just need to exercise my psychological skills a litlle more and "enter the zone" we heard and read so much about.

Again anyone who reads this and has a good way to get on a healthy move while the first signal was missed don't be scarce with u're knowledge.

Wednesday Trades

a somewhat dull day +10, +23, -13 all after the big move up, missed the start coz i'm still having problems entering while trend is already up/down. appreciate any suggetions on this one.

thought about giving AdSense a try, so i've taken out the chat...

took 2 trades on cable, one at b/e one ended up with +1 pips....
feeling confident and that's what counts.
